Instructors for the first ever virtual Fort Worden Kitemakers Conference are set and it is another fun and diverse slate!
The following instructors have graciously accepted invitiations to present their projects on March 27th! Check them out and let’s have some fun making kites!
Don’t forget, registration for the 2022 in-person conference will open in the fall of 2021. Stay tuned for that announcement!
- Classes will be presented with instructions and video tutorials.
- A dedicated Facebook discussion page for each project will be monitored by the instructors and assistants on Saturday, March 27.
- Projects will use ripstop and paper, sew and non-sew.
- Go wild with your creativity and show us your personal graphics!

A long-time kitemaker and popular instructor, Scott will be presenting his 15″ cube kite. This kite is a fun build with ample opportunity for you to express your own graphical creativity. Build one or build many!

Another familiar instructor is Jerimy Colbert who will be presenting his miniature kites. These fun kites offer great creativity for both graphics and shapes. Here’s an opportunity to learn the basis for many rainy day projects!
